  9. [R]ead an Archive File :
  10.  
  11.     If you select [R], you will be asked for the file name within the
  12.     archive file you selected that you wish to read.  If the file you
  13.     wish to read is a text file, GAP will display that file for you.
  14.     If the file you select to read is NOT a text file, you will be given
  15.     an appropriate message.

  17.     If you have not first selected an archived file, you will be asked
  18.     to do so.
